To acknowledge the heritage of the Pelikan factory and the cooperation with the Adventure Zoo Hanover, Sheraton Hanover Pelikan Hotel took on a sponsorship for two brown pelicans in 2010. These pelicans live in Yukon Bay, next to wolves, bisons and polar bears and share their home, the ship “Yukon Queen” with several penguins.  The employees of Sheraton Hanover Pelikan Hotel are still excited about their “godchildren” in Zoo Hanover.
